I need to convert .hlp(winhelp project) to .chm(htmlhelp project).I used HTML Help Workshop tool to convert this process. It got converted. But the problems are

1. rtf to htm name mismatch
2. Aliases were not properly created
3. Images not extracted properly.

What I have tried:

Did you write some code to do this? If so where is it. If not, you're in the wrong forum.

I didn't use code. I used HTML Help workshop tool. I just followed this link to do this (http://www.help-info.de/en/Help_Info_WinHelp/hw_converting.htm). Still there are some issues in coversion
1. rtf to htm name mismatch
2. Aliases were not created
3. Images not extracted properly

With what? You have not given any useful detail of your problem. Have you read Code Project Quick Answers FAQ[^]?

1 solution

If a "conversion tool" has issues, one usually resorts to modifying the "source data" to comply.

You have the source data (i.e. html and static content), which includes everything you need. Change the names or whatever to comply.

Spin off stuff that won't convert (not likely).

Concatenate files (using "tokens" for combining and splitting) for easier scanning / modding.

(One can strip an entire web site in this way).

(E)xtract, (T)ranslate, (L)oad.

What is hard makes it also valuable.
