dr["TotalMarks"] = (float.Parse(dr["socialmarks"].ToString()) + float.Parse(dr["MathsMarks"].ToString()) + float.Parse(dr["ScienceMarks"].ToString())).ToString();

How is it possible by using Union? If you use union then there will be two columns as Output. But see the Op's expecting output, test1 from first query and test2 from second query. So have to use joins.

You mention that "If i select Sam and Save the form" then sam should remove.
Are you storing that selected(Sam) value to another table. If yes it is possible to load Checkbox without "Sam".

Your @post Sqldbtype is varchar,but you are passing integer value to it. Check it out.
Also you have to check textbox value. Bcoz you are using Convert.Int32() so you have to check that textbox values is in integer or not?

Please Check your column 7 is ActualWt or not? and also to have to cast it in your correct format. So check that ActualWt datatype is float or double or int etc.,
select row.Field<double>, Here you have to change your datatype. If your column is in int, change field to int.

Good one. But some text error,you posted
SELECT DATEADD(MONTH,-1,GEDATE())
correct it to
SELECT DATEADD(MONTH,-1,GETDATE())
(just one "T" is missing in GETDATE() )

Hey @MohamedEliyas ,you are checking textbox text with your database values,but here the question is set to get validation to check all the textboxe's text should not have duplicate text.But he notice that similar text with exclamation mark (!) is allowed.So try to make correction in your solution.

if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.Footer)
{
Label WORKHRS1= (Label)e.Row.FindControl("WORKHRS1");
WORKHRS1.Text = grand_total.ToString();
}
In footer You are taking WORKHRS1 label,But Check the footer it consists of label which is named as lblTotalhours, so finding WORKHRS1 is not a right way.

Can you provide your table design?
Or Try to debug your code, check the rows value here ( int rows = cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); )
You should get 1 in rows,bcoz here you are going to affect only one row. then change the condition like if (rows > 0)

Try this,
int retryattempts = Convert.ToInt32(dr["retryattempts"].ToString());
instead of
int retryattempts = Convert.ToInt32(dr["retryattempts"]);

try to get that 10 id value from your gridview datasource,in (next or prev)button click event,use Response.Redirect() function ,here u can provide Details.aspx with id values . Then use query string on Details.aspx page to get all id values,here you can bind your new grid with id values.

How u think substring(employeeId ,5 , 5) is possible for multiple entries,it will shows the same result for every repetition of execution. if the id is FHMS10001 means, the result will be 1+1=2 for every execution of this query.
