Depends on the costs: Ordinance Survey[^] charge by the map (and that's town-by-town data) so if they aren't going to sell many, then they charge accordingly. And they won't sell many (because it's now free with Android) except in cars where the equipment can't be easily changed, so they up the costs again (and probably have to provide a cut to the car manufacturer, or vice versa, which ups the price yet again.) Ain't rampant capitalism wonderful?

I used to work for them in Amsterdam. The bottom has fallen out of their industry thanks to google maps, if they didn't charge for the map data there'd be nothing left.

Speaking of Yeltsin: I've been trying to locate the video of him pinching his secretary's ass in a televised conference in full view of the entire world's population, but I haven't been able to find it. Does anybody out there have a link. It was SO funny, so I'd really like to see it again...
