I'm with Cap'n C# on this, and after him, Grimolfr - had all these poeple bleating on about Guantanamo been even half as vocal in their condemnation of what went on in pre-war Iraq I might have just one shred of sympathy of them. Any coward can point a finger in a democracy.

Oh, that's too bad. And what's got this to do with this poll?

I've found one could keep any number of significant others simply by proper grooming.
Typically, when they see you licking your eyebrows, they don't ask any questions . . .

Hmm...let me see.
You're a hominid, but not excactly a member of the genus "Homo"?

It would seem you spend a bit too much time flirting with your monitor.
You may have observed that that putting your socks in the fron of your underware is ineffective in attracting a mate. If you'd have spent more time learning what women like, you would understand the attractive value of a long . . .
Oh never mind -

As long as it's a multiple choice question and you don't have to pay for them I find quite significant that only a 39% selected the 'Peace on Earth' choice.
|
|
|

Maybe those are the 61% that just don't believe in Peace on Earth any more...
(I choosed to check it, hope against hope)

I did not vote for that one because I believe that there is no chance in my lifetime for that to ever happen.

Every one of us can do the difference... and 'hope' is the last thing to be lost.
If it doesn't in my life time I hope it happen soon.
If we spend the money from the war in health care, medicine research and alternative energy I’m sure a tons of lives can be save instead be killing each other for some gallons of rotten dinosaurs.
Off course as long there are people like Bush in the government that will be just a dream.

I do not believe that every single person on earth could end all hatred, all pride and beliefs that they are somehow better than others, all desire to have something that other people have, and forgive and forget all wrong that has occurred in the past.

The war in Iraq has very little to do with oil. If it did this would be a very good thing for us all as when the oil is gone in 50 years there would be no conflict in the Middle East.

I do believe; if everyone makes an effort it can happen, that will be the times when the human raze realize the meaning to us to be in the Universe.
War is some kind of sickness created for the persons with power that wants to have more power.
In a family two brothers will fight each other by nature, but if somebody in the neighborhood else harm one of the brother then the other will join him to defend him.
If someone from another neighborhood attacks yours, then you join your neighbor to defend yours and you have a war between gangs.
If other state attacks yours, then you will join the closer cities and you have a civil war.
If someone attack you country then you will join to all states/city and defends yours, and you have a war.
If someone attacks another country but is ally then you will join it and you will have a World War.
If aliens attack the planet then the earth will be join together to be defended.
How come that depends of the situation a person will join the enemy to beat another enemy?
War is not good from a simple fight between bothers until nuke each other between countries.
> All pride and beliefs that they are somehow better than others.
There are no better or worst, as long we respect each other is good, there is nothing more beautiful than learn about different cultures, religions, sports, some people are black some whites, yellow or green, we are all the f***... same, just Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxigen.
All of us will die in the next 100 years and for the 99.99% nobody will remember us in the next 200 years, so, what we do in the small time we are here depends of us.
> All desire to have something that other people have.
That is the main reason why all the wars start; there is nothing wrong with ambition and to want more, always I want more and more for that reason I work 15hs a day like a bitch, the problem is when you want something that SOMEBODY ELSE HAS. At work there is two ways to get a promotion, try to beat your ass to be noticed then a new position can be created, or the easier one, try to give sh*t about your boss then you can take his place.
> The war in Iraq has very little to do with oil. If it did this would be a very good thing for us all as when the oil is gone in 50 years there would be no conflict in the Middle East.
Enlighten me, because still I don’t believe all the “Operation Iraqi Freedom” Bushit
This is not a personal attack; I'm trying to understand you point.

Gustavo.

I voted for it with zero hope. This is the middle Earth and it is not Heaven Or Hell. Hence you will experience both side of the coin here, mean war and peace.. If it ever become a peaceful world then it will be upgraded to heaven, or if not may downgraded to hell too..

I voted on that one too. I do my share in anyway I can, but I don't believe such thing can be possible, it never has existed on earth and it never will. We just have to make it a relatively better place by education ourselves and others against ignorance
