Hi guys,
So, I was wondering if it was possible to get open cmd, then tell it to open my vb.net console, but within the command prompt window, instead as a new instance?
If you guys could help me accomplish that, I would be very grateful.
Regards,

Why do you need to run cmd.exe? Why not to run your program directly?

Why? It doesn't seem to make any sense.

Basically, instead of creating a new window, just let the command prompt host it. For me personally, it gets annoying when too many windows are open.

I agree with you, but why CMD.EXE, why not console? CMD.EXE has nothing to do with console, this is just an ordinary application using console. It does not give you anything.
Do you have any non-console, graphical UI? In all cases, you can use your application console.
