Sharepoint Incremental Crawl.

I have configured the SharePoint incremental crawl to run every 10 mintues for 13 hours from Monday to Friday. The full crawl is scheduled to run every Saturday.

Usually incremental crawl takes maximum 4 minutes. Recently, it took 1 hour and 12 minutes. When we investigated on the issue, in the crawl log history under Security Updates it was showing 210140. The value for the previous security updates were 0.

My question is What does security updates go to do with crawl job?
What kind of security updates are those?
