Hello everyone,
I work for a typical business organization and we are developing an web application for our employees who will use this web site to transfer data from remote area to the central data center and will also be able to view few reports. The number of reports will be, not more than 10.
We are planning to develop our reports in Crystal Report, which is built in within the .NET Framework. But my concern is, will the built in Crystal Report of .NET Framework require any license? or Our company will need to pay for it?

Please give your important opinion about this issue.

Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET and for Visual Studio 2005 are fully integrated in the Visual Studio .NET and Visual Studio 2005 family of products.

Developers can use Crystal Reports for Visual Studio to do the following:

    1. Design unlimited reports for use in Visual Studio applications with the integrated Crystal Reports designer.
    2. Integrate the Crystal Reports runtime engine into thick client Microsoft Windows applications.
    3. Integrate the Crystal Reports runtime engine into Web applications.

      a. Web applications with the embedded runtime engine can be freely redistributed within the developers’ own organization.
      b. To redistribute Web applications outside the developers’ organization for use by third parties, you must obtain written authorization.
