Having an issue with the FlexibleMessageBox

I'm using your FlexibleMessageBox code and though it appears to be working (not throwing any errors), when it attempts to display the message box, nothing appears and my application is frozen. I'm running it in debug mode so the only way to unfreeze it is to stop the application and restart. Any suggestions? I thought this code and class would be simple but apparently I am missing something.

Don't post this under Quick Answers - if you got the code from an article, then there is a "Add a Comment or Question" button at the bottom of that article, which causes an email to be sent to the author. They are then alerted that you wish to speak to them.
