ssl_read is throwing an error ssl_error_ssl in Client after successful handshake

After susscessful handshake between the client and server i sent a Connect protocol from client to server and after recieving the Connect protocol in server.The server sent a Responce to the Connect Protocol While reading the response in Client Using SSL_read it returns -1 and ssl_get_error() returns 1 i.e. SSL_ERROR_SSL.
