how do i perform a multiple delete with checkboxes just like in yahoomail

Solution 1

Delete what? Files? Database entries?
Iterate through your elements you ~~want~~ offer to delete and if the checkbox representing that element is checked, then delete it.

Solution 2

I don't know ymail, but try

0) create your checkboxes with some name add deferents values( value = $id or something)
1) get list of values (ids "checked")
2) delete your data where id = list of values in checkboxes
