I have just downloaded the source for the Oracle Schema Compare. It states that all you need is .NET Framework 1.1. I have this installed (2 and 3). Unfortunately I am a newbie with these .net applications so I do not know how to "run" this app. The downloaded zip file consists of .vb,.resx,.vbproj and .sln files. I am running Windows Xp, so how do I run this application???

Do you have Visual Studio or Visual Basic Express[^] (which is free) installed? If so, you just open the solution file (.sln) in one of those, then build the solution to generate the .exe so you can run the application.
