_doPostback is causing browser to go back of other windows in IE10

I am calling "_doPostback" javascript function on click event of a jQuery UI tab. This is working fine in many browsers but sending the browser back to other window in IE10.

Has anybody else faced the same issue? If yes then please suggest any work around.

Env: IE10
Windows Server 2012R2 Standard 64 bit
