BIM, dxf, ifc files I need information

Hi.

I need help about the new situation with the import and export files in the civil engeneering or architecture companies. There are new elements due of the BIM technology, but can we export these elements to a dxf file? Or is better export to a IFC file? And is possible write an ifc file esaily? If someone could help me t could be great. THANKS a lot.
