How to change setting from vs2008 to vs2010

Hello there,

I just changed my operating system from window XP to window 8. and VS2008 to VS2010.
As in earlier version like 2008 if we formatted system and reinstall any OS with VS2008. What we could do just export setting from old version save it somewhere safe and import in new installed setup of 2008 every thing will be intact.

i want export setting from vs2008 IDE and import in vs2010 IDE. But its not working.
