Benifits of using SQLHelper in visual studio over your own Sql command code

Hi there everyone, I would likt to know if there are any benefits of using the sqlhelper class over your own Sql command code ?

I know that its a lot less code for one, its just one line with the sql Parameters and sql statement.

Less typing, is always better. SQL Helper Class Microsoft .NET Utility[^]

Hi there, thanks for your reply, I haven't had much time to look at the link, been very busy with work, So its basically just the same as creating your own, except you don't have to do all the typing ?
