Microsoft Indexing Service 2003 not returning results

Hi All,

We are using Microsoft Indexing Service as an Search tool for our application from last 10+ years, recently we are facing one weird scenario on Search front i.e Indexing Service returns expected results sometime for the search term but overnight those results get vanished and next day when we search for the same search term it returns only limited results. Example:- today I perform a search from application for search term "sample" and in return I got 200 results but next day when we perform search again for same term i.e. "sample" then we are getting only 50 results. We observed that remaining 150 results are not coming up.

We tried the same by re-indexing catalog next day and after this for serach term "sample" it again returns 200 results.

Could anyone know why microsoft indexing service 2003 is behaving like this?
