Looking for thorough walkthrough to set up a decent Android IDE

I have done this before, following some guide, but the whole setup was a bit wobbly. There are so many guides for this out there, all with subtle differences, so I was hoping somebody that codes for Android daily might be able to point me to a thorough and correct walk-through for setting Eclipse up for Android. And, if that isn't the best idea, maybe steer me toward a better, more suitable IDE.

Solution 1

Plenty of samples at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/android/#Android+Tutorial+Contest[^]. I use eclipse for Android, and found it quite straightforward to set up.
