Hi,

I am having SQL Server 2008 on my local system. I can create and manage databases through Management Studio from the Local Administrator account.
But when I try to access or create database from my Domain Account, It shows this error.

"CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 262)"

How can I set the permission to my domain user ? Should I set it at the server, or Local System SQL Server ??

Thanks

You should have administrator rights in your machine.follow below steps to add users or groups

1.Right click on the My Computer and Select Manage
2.Go to Local users and Groups & add respective users and groups.
3.Restart the machine.
