Stream WMA through MMS to iPhone

I'm trying to play an audio (second stage video) stream on an iPhone.
The challenge is in the protocol and the format of the stream. The stream's WMA through MMS.
I have compiled both libMMS and ffmpeg for iPhone, but have trouble with using those libs.
I've googled quite a lot for help on this subject, but no luck.

So, I need help in either using some ready - to -go solution for playing this stream on the iPhone or help in (at least) getting started with libMMS and ffmpeg so that I can build this functionality myself.

Code and lib licenses are not an issue, since I plan to release the code in GPL and write an article about it that would (hopefully) be published here.
