I have a web site hosted on windows server 2003 and IIS 6. I want to add www before site address so that site looks like www.example.com.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Are you self-hosting it? www is a standard lowest-level sub-domain which is always there. Standard settings is treating 'example.com' as 'www.example.com' (so "www" behaves like default, an alias of "example.com"). If this is not so, the site setting are screwed up really well... :-)

I am not self hosting.. the server is already on cloud hosted by rackspace but when I try accessing my site with url www.example.com (example is hypothetical site, not real one), it give me error.. site not found but it works fine when I run application with example.com.
