How can I set my Windows CE project platform to something other than "Active (Any CPU)"?

I have a Windows CE project (Visual Studio 2008) in which, based on tip here, I want to change Project > Properties > Build > Platform from "Active (Any CPU)" to "x86", but it gives me no other options than "Active (Any CPU)"

Am I really stuck with just "Active (Any CPU)" or is there a way to slap the Build tab so that it straightens up and flies right?
