What is the best approach to do a face recognition in opencv and c++?

I want to come up with a face recognition program using opencv and c++. I want my program to be working in all conditions and shouldn't be dependent much on the amount of light and should be able to give maximum accuracy. What is the best algorithm/approach to do that? Any links or suggestions is highly appreciated.
