Parsing error while loading special characters in Xml using IIS5.1

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed

I am getting above error while requesting the page.
my subject is to load an xml file and it gets parsed.

i had written page directive <%@Import Namespace="System.Xml" %> in source file

I think this is caused by iis server in loading special characters..
