URL Redirection Producing trailing double slashesh

Hi Friends,
Need help in URL Redirection.

The current site address is http://www.abc.xyz.com. On opening this in address bar it redirects the site to here:http://www.xyz.com.hk//[^].

The problem is with the trailing double slashes as it is making problem in SEO.

I googled and found a solution for this type of problem here http://thatsit.com.au/seo/tutorials/how-to-fix-canonical-issues-involving-the-trailing-slash[^]. I've gone through the steps mentioned in the site but it has not solved my issue. If anyone suffered from this type of issue please share your valuable solution.
