R: How to plot a polygon on top of a barplot that is transparent

Hello CPs,

I don't know if this is a frequently asked question. But I am using R language to plot some graphs and I'm try to plot a polygon on top of a bar plot. So how can I make this polygon on top of the barplot and be a little transparent(Lets says 25%).
