Hi Friends!

I have built a Windows CE 6.0 for my CoreWind S3C6410 system.

Everything is OK on first days and OS is Up within 15 seconds, but after a while and frequently Power ON/OFF, boot-time increases up to 30 seconds!

Does anyone know why this happens?

This is the usual problem. The system tends to be contaminated with more and more, often unused processes. Viruses also can take place; who knows?

You can download and use of of the registry clean-up utilities. Also, this is on of the applications which can help you to find out what application, services and other processes are loaded on start-up, and eliminated unwanted ones:

This is a freeware application, one of the must-haves.

Thank for your reply Sergey Alexandrovich
but my question is about WindowsCE, not XP

Did I say a single word on XP? :-) This is a common problem. Clean up registry, find out what is loaded on start and get rid of the unwanted.
