Hello,
please consult me on the following issue.
I'm a programmer, design free software.
I registered a company offshore (Seychelles) but I work in Russia. Can I buy a code signing certificate (Microsoft Authenticode) for my programs? Do you give certificates for IBC?
I can provide any documentation concerning my company.

Solution 1

As long as you don't live in a country which is banned under the US export regulations then you should be OK. The list of current embargo countries can be found here[^]. Code Project provides a discounted code signing certificate, available here[^].

both countries are not in the list. Could you explain me what happens after I will pay for the certificate? Will I need to submit docs?

Dan - the details of the process for the Code Project certificates are outlined in this agreement[^]. Basically you need to concentrate on items 3 and 4 in this document (although you should familiarise yourself with ALL of the terms and conditions). Item 4 describes the process of verification that you need to follow.
