how do I connect database in signalr chat application?

Hello. I make a chat application on asp.net signalr. Which is based on chatroom where multiple users will chat. And the private chat which will be for user who is in the chat room at that time. So now my task is that I have to make database on sql server where all the data will be saved. Each and everything. No of user, chat room conversation, private chat conversation with date and time. Please help me to guide me completely that how can I implement that..

"Teach me everything there is about database design and interaction" is far too broad for a forum posting answer. You need to do some research and do some self learning. Come back and ask a specific question if you run into a problem that could be answered in a forum posting.
