I'm really having a hard time when trying to open/test my website after its being uploaded to my FTP server.

When I compile and run my website locally (not uploaded, only accessed offline mode) it works like a charm. However, when I deploy my solution as a "Release" configuration and attempt to make a test, it just won't show me the UI website that I have made in the "Default.aspx" -> which is found in Solution Explorer in Visual Studio 2013, it shows me XAML-like scripts.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Does it make sense to you to upload a website to an FTP server? Do you think that you should be uploading your website to a web server? Just a thought.

I am using the FTP method found in Visual Studio when publishing the project... That's what I tried to do.

Looks like IIS is not configured to run that as a site. As such, it's just showing the actual files instead of executing them.
