login script after rdp connection

Hi,

I connect remotely with rdp to a local user on WinServer2008.

I have a batch file a.bat which I want to be run when the local user logon.

-How do I configure that?

-can I configure that for a whole group of local users?

Solution 1

use gpedit.msc.

Local Computer Policy -> User Configuration ->Windows Settings->Scripts

This will be for all users. If you want to vary that according to groups, you'll have to test for group membership in your script.
