Unable to publish vb 2012 on user pc (windows xp)

Hi everyone, have tried to publish vb 2012 application on windows xp but unable to do so, error message setup.exe is not a valid win32 application. However it can be publish on my pc windows 7. Please advise. Thanks a lot.

Solution 1

At a guess, it's a 64 bit application, and you are trying to install it on a 32 bit system.

Hi, thanks for your reply. The application is a 32 bit application running on Windows 7. If i tried to instal it to Windows XP then the error message "setup.exe is not a valid win32 application" appears. Please advise. Thanks.
