I had to install a new TP Link router to get a CCTV feed from a DVR.

I had it all working, could get online and went into the router to set the port forwarding.

So far so good.

I could not get the CCTV feed to be readable either through the net or locally via 192.168.1.100:80

I realised I had set it up under PPPoA, so tried changing it to PPPoE to see if that made a difference.

As soon as I changed it I lost the internet connection and could not even go in via the gateway address.

Now, I CAN do a factory reset, but if there is something obvious I am missing, please tell.

Pressing on a tiny button for 4 seconds, possibly with a needle?
