Interpretation of the CPOL license

You may not offer or impose any terms on the Work that alter or restrict the terms of this License or the recipients' exercise of the rights granted hereunder.

If including a CPOL package in a commercial software product, is the vendor required to ensure that users of the commercial software product agree to the terms of the CPOL license?

You should probably ask the web site admins/license keeper about this.

Thank you for your advice. I have written to the webmaster and await a reply. I am interested in the general answer to this question, not for a specific piece of software. My company, Do Diligence Partners, Inc., assesses the implications of open source licensing for commercial products we evaluate. So, I am interested in a definitive interpretation of the license for all software that is CPOL licensed.
