Dears ,
I have the following situation :
I have a development SharePoint 2010 environment on a test server , i want to move for the production environment to a different server , i have tried almost everything regards the Backup and restore, i have tried using the Central Administration , SP powershell commands but with no luck ,
in some cases i had the following error (sample):

Object StateService_0e609739aea044189d82651f721ce4fd failed in event OnRestore. For more information, see the spbackup.log or sprestore.log file located in the backup directory.
SqlException: The operation did not proceed far enough to allow RESTART. Reissue the statement without the RESTART qualifier.
RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally

in other cases i had the powershell telling me that i am trying to restore from a SharePoint version to a different version , while i am so sure that the two servers are identical to each other .. regards the OS and SP2010 and SQL too..

Please any help ,,
If you have good articles please post links for me ..
Appreciated

Hi Rushi,
Do you want to migrate the data from test environment to production environment?
The error msg is self explanatory that it describes that the version is different.
Some quetions to guide you further:
How you are so sure did you check the version?
Did you check the version of Sql server Installed in test and production environment?

Sorry bit busy did you complete this action ,If not pls check the event log and let know ,another suggestion is to check your permission for restoring to the server or check for the destination path existency.
