how to control accordion at runtime

hi coders,
im developing a master page which has a search screen to search an employee. i included that search part and its result i.e. the gridview showing searched employees inside an Accordion.
now what i want to do is to minimize the accordion when i select an emplyee i.e. when i click on the gridvu row. I dnt understand exactly which property of accrdion to use.
please help...........
