Can I Activate My Window Based Project License Key Via Inernet

is there is any way to activate and de-active my window based (c#) project license key over internet .
Is this can be done by web services.

when net connected to the system(in which software installed) , it check system code and then communicate via internet to web service and match with another code and then active product license key, and the same procedure to deactivate the license key.

Any Example ....... HELP
