How to create a private cloud of two pc?

I want to create a private cloud of two personal computers. Later on I want to create desktop application which will let users to connect those pc in private cloud.

Please help me with the steps and softwares I will need.

I have gone through vmWare but it has so many products, I am confused which is suitable for my use.

Well VMware is really about creating virtual machines. You seem to want to network two computers. It's not really clear. How will those PCs be connected - via the internet? via a Network? Your first steps need to be to clearly define what you are trying to do... do you want to run software in this cloud, or just share data. Once you get a clear picture then the tools you need should become clearer
