How Do I Connect A Web Api Service To Node.Js Local Server

Hi,

I have a web api service that will return some values in json and i need to establish a connection between it and my node.js server, so when i run it and go to a specific address (localhost:9000/index.html for example) the service will start and the html i've created shows me the data.

I think i've explain my problem correctly.
Is there a way to do it, i' searched the web but i can't find any info that helps me.
