Why we rather match one to one the entity fields with the datatable columns on DAO?

Why we rather match one to one the entity fields with the datatable columns on DAO instead using a 'matcher' built with generics?
In fact there are several patterns that hydrates their entities this way but im not quite sure why, can anyone please explain me the benefits of waste time writing (or generating) one by one all the properties matchers?
