Ok. Installed SQL Server 2014 on a Win2012R2 VM. Everything appears to work except within VS2012 Shell I don't see the normal SSAS, SSIS, etc project templates. Did miss something in the install. There's Database tools but nothing to create a SSIS package....

Thanks. unfortunately MS didn't disclose an order of operation. First SQL 2014 w/tools, then SQL 2014 SSDT, then SQL BIDS 2012. Wait a pain...

Try on Visual Studio 2013 to get project templete SSAS, SSIS
