Hi,

I have a pc running windows 8 and a server runing windows server 2012.
I have an static IP address, now I trying to access the server using remote desktop connection by entering that static Ip address but I am getting this error:

Quote:
Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled
2) The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network

Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.

and whilw trying to enter the ip address from the bwoser it is working, I am able to access the IIS.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with the server?
