click on child item of list parent does not highlight in windows phone

Hey,
I am developing a mobile web app in all platform.
It works fine in iOS, Blackberry, Android but Windows has some issue.
I create that structure on codepen for reference.

My requirement is: when we click/tap on icon or text we need the feedback on his parent tag, which is perfectly work in iOS,BB, Android.
But windows is not working.

Can anybody help me to come out?
