Multiple header search in gridview in asp.net

I am having a grid view with header search in all the columns.
I need to autofill the header with data from the database and i have to search and populate the grid with the data. I am not able to perform autofill in the textbox(header).
Can anyone tell me how to perform search based on the selection in the Header textbox?

i cant post it over here but i tried similar to this.

In the link the data is bound in page load itself, but i need to do that after the search in header. For the Header search i need the autofill option.
