Hi,
We are using SharePoint MOSS environment having around 10 site collections running parallely with two WFEs,now we have decided to move all the documents with versions to some specific share as you might aware Microsoft is taking back support after April 2014.
Now in team meeting we have come up with new requirement,we need to have all the documents copied/moved to some specific share or local machine along with their versions.
Is there any way that we could copy/move all the documents with **version history**(One site collection at a time) to my local machine to be make sure that each version of every document can also be downloaded at the same time,i know it is time consuming
I have googled a lot but was unable to find any solution except some coding kind of stuff.
I am just an administrator and do not have any knowledge in .net and c#.
If you guys could provide me the feasible solution to this problem cause I have to show this ppt in my next meeting.
I hope you guys would help me out in fetching all those documents(On one site collection) along with their versions.
Also Please let me know how to check of office document at local machine level how many versions are available for the document.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Can't you just use Backup, physically copy that folder to the new location, then reinstall SharePoint to the new location and restore?
