Hi all,

Last night on my PC, I tried to update the service pack for Win7. Somehow It fails and after that almost 3GB space on system drive (drive C) is missing.

I just want to know, is such case where windows tore unnecessary files in the system? I want to remove those file and increase the HDD space available to install some other required applications.

Thanks

Windows OS creates restore point[^] before make any upgrade (almost each windows update creates restore point). They can occupy many HDD space.
I often use CCleaner[^] to free space on OS partition.

Do not remove data manually! Use recommended tool.
