while I am developing a project where I use the asp.net DB, the membership there, where I create users, edit, give permissions, etc etc. .. all that is possible to do with these users. I integrated this DB with the db of my application to have a unique DB ... it's all working ...
Here the difficulty comes. As the application will be internally in a company, they already have Active Directory with its users, I have to integrate my application with AD so that I can log in with the User of AD instead of the one I created in the user table of my application (membership ).
I dont know where to start, because my idea is to have only authenticating with AD and use all the features of my DB restanted who is working perfectly ...
some help? I'm really need to solve this problem. I appreciate any help
