HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found

When I publish a simple website on my pc IIS,during browsing it from IIS
instead of default page I Encounter the following error

SQL

HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found

The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

It seems all IIS Settings were installed correctly
how could I solv it?

Solution 1

It seem that asp.net not registered with your IIS (installation order?)
You have to run aspnet_regiis.exe -i for the proper asp.net version...
