Get SMART error log from HDD

Hi guys i m making a project and till now i got SMART attributes and now i want to read SMART error log...is there any code to read SMART error log from HDD.....or any tutorial....

What info do you exactly need from the log ?

i found that there is a command to get SMART log which is READ ERROR LOG CMD(0x2F)....i want to use this command to get error log....if any C/C++ example is available for this please let me know....
