Maintian 24 hr period in Windows Application

Hi All,
I want to maintain 24hr period in my Application. This 24 hr period is independent of system datetime. Application has its own time period like session changes when 24hr period completes.
Should i use timer in my application?

If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Solution 1

The Stopwatch[^] class should provide measures independent by the system time. However it has its caveats. See, for instance here[^].
