unable to read the project file .vcxproj

hello,
i am creating a windows runtime component project with reference of sqlite-winrt but while opening this project i am getting error:
unable to read the project file .vcxproj

i saw a question where in answer suggested that deletion of this file work but in my case deletion of file is giving error .vcxproj not found
i have windows 8 machine with vs2012 for windows 8
error msg
